BullBuilder to Present ‘Rookie of the Year’ Award

Members of the BullBuilder Committee, along with their guests, will take a table at the Bradford Bulls’ End of Season Ball.

The event, now sold out, will also be the occasion for the presentation of awards for the 2014 season, and BullBuilder will be involved here as well, presenting the under-19 squad’s ‘Rookie of the Year Award’.

“The purpose of the Rookie of the Year award,” said BullBuilder Chairman, Mike Farren, “is to celebrate the overall development of a young player – not just his playing development. The club has always been rightly proud of developing rounded characters through the Academy, and we at BullBuilder are right behind them on this.”

Factors such as attitude in training, involvement in the team, progress in studies, general character and demeanour have all been taken into account in making this award, with input coming primarily from the Academy coaching staff.

“It’s a great privilege to be able to present this award,” continued Farren, “but we are also looking to enjoy the event along with the rest of the Bulls’ fans. The End of Season Ball is a fantastic innovation, and we are pleased to be able to contribute to it, both as paying guests, contributing to the club’s coffers for next season’s promotion push, and as active participants, recognising the great efforts made over the season by players from the Academy.”
