BullBuilder Sends 4 to Bulls Foundation Camps

The recently completed Bulls Foundation Summer Camps, held during the school holidays in July and August, proved a great success in teaching rugby skills to children from 6 to 14. Thanks to BullBuilder, four disadvantaged children were given the chance to attend these camps.

Bullbuilder chairman Mike Farren said “Though we at BullBuilder focus mainly on the Bulls’ Academy, we are also interested in developing the Rugby League community throughout Bradford and the surrounding area. The more children there are playing Rugby League, the greater the pool that the Academy can select from – and the greater the chance of finding the stars of the future!”

Two of the places were funded directly by BullBuilder Board members, while money for the other two came from BullBuilder reserves. However, to ensure absolute fairness, the selection of worthy candidates was done by club pastor, Warren Evans.

“We worked previously with Warren, when administering the Hardship Fund during the administration of 2012,” said Farren. “We were aware of his trustworthiness. He was the ideal person to bring discretion and even-handedness to the process.”
